We are asking for international and institutional pledges whereby companies, foreign investors or anyone else can pledge to buy COWRIE at more than the listing price of .04 American cents.
The nett effect of this is peer to peer charity, there is no middleman and the benefit goes directly Into the hands of the local people of South Africa.
Pledged to purchase R1 million worth of COWRIE at 65 cents.
This means that already local South Africans could sell the COWRIE which they bought for 60c for 65c.
